Get it right whenever you write

Whilst building dezrezPM – our new property management software, we have always had the term “compliant” etched at the forefront of our minds, from writing business processes to developing functionality.

We know how fundamentally important it is for lettings agents to stay compliant. The list of requirements for landlords and lettings agents seems endless (and growing), but they are an essential part of today’s operations.

This is where we come in – we are developing a standard letter section into the new dezrezPM product, based around very similar functionality already used in our dezrez software, which will allow users to add, edit and remove any of these letters to suit individual business requirements.

As an additional service we are also considering offering a compliant letter pack that will be pre-filled with industry compliant letters. We will be working in partnership with industry experts The Guild of Letting & Management to offer this service to our customers, ensuring that the letters will be updated automatically whenever legislation changes take place, a worry free service which means you can concentrate on property management rather than compliancy and paperwork!

For those agents that want to add that personal touch to their correspondence, they can simply copy the compliant letter across to the standard pack and add the pleasantries. We are also working on a tool that will allow users to add headers and footers to their letters with the click of a button. Watch this space!

So what do you think? Would you take advantage of this service?

We currently use the Letting Centre’s Professional
Series tenancy agreements which includes letters. Will your provider include the tenancy agreement and licence to use it.
